Adult Volunteers (18+)

None of the sections would be able to run without our amazing team of adult volunteers, ranging from Squirrel Scout Leaders to Explorer Scout Leaders to Active Support members.

Our Adult Volunteers have the responsibility of running their section and allowing the young people to make the most out of their Scouting adventure, at the same time having an adventure themselves. Being an Adult Volunteer also offers the chance to build on personal skills, like teamwork, confidence, and leadership. A study found that over 90% of the volunteers in the Scouting movement believe that the skills and experiences they have gained through Scouting have been of relevance to their working or personal lives.

Scout Active Support

Scout Active Support allows you to give your time and skills to Scouting on a flexible basis. You can still be involved in Scouting without the bigger commitment of taking on a more substantial role.

Members of the Scout Active Support team provides a resource for managers of local Scouting including our Group Scout Leaders, our section leaders on camp, activities, and trips as well as our group executive for group events and fund raising. You can be involved in whichever activities and projects take your fancy.
